A rehabilitation center for drug and alcohol addicts is a place where addicts are treated. Most often, these are found in so-called "cottages" and "motivational houses," which are run by former addicts. Less commonly, they are found in private medical facilities, where teams of former addicts, psychotherapists, psychiatrists specializing in addiction, clinical psychologists, and nursing staff are organized. Whose work is more effective? We think there's no need to explain. The topic is as old as time and has long been analyzed. The daily routine at a rehabilitation center for alcoholics and drug addicts is typically based on military principles. This is necessary to instill responsibility in patients. Here, no one will wake you up, no one will put you to bed, no one will remind you of this or that point in the routine. The addict is responsible for themselves. They must adhere to the schedule established by specialists. And if any violations are detected, they are held accountable. Upon admission, patients sign a set of rules, meaning they shouldn't be surprised if they're forced to mop the hallway floors for being late to class. These are the community rules. At the Insight Clinic, the day begins with waking up. How could it be otherwise? Patients take care of their personal hygiene needs, drink tea, take their medications, and do general exercises. Then come group activities, calls to family members, free time, work in personal notebooks, individual consultations, and lunch. And then all of the above again... and dinner.
