President Prabowo Subianto will close around 700 to 800 state-owned enterprises by the end of 2026. These closures are being implemented because these state-owned enterprises continue to experience losses. Prabowo made this announcement while attending the closing ceremony of the National Ulema Conference and the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Grand Conference in Bangkalan.
