I Rebuilt My 1963 Ford F100 Brakes... Mistakes Were Made

Back in the garage with the 1963 Ford F100 Revival, and today it’s Brake Time. Not rest and relaxation, this is all about finally giving this old truck the stopping power it’s been missing. Since day one, the brakes on this F100 have been, let’s just say… questionable. And if this truck is ever going to get back on the road the right way, that has to change. So we’re tearing into a brake system that hasn’t been touched in decades, packed with grime, worn parts, and a few surprises I definitely wasn’t expecting. Instead of just throwing new parts at it, I’m working to refurbish and bring these original components back to life using vintage tools, keeping things as true to the truck’s era as possible. Along the way, I also make a pretty rookie mistake… one that comes back to bite me later. If you’re into classic trucks, old-school tools, and learning the hard way, you’re in the right place. And stick around till the end, there’s something important I want to share with you. 📺Subscribe for more classic car and truck revival content! 👇 Watch the first video on this Ford 👇    • 1963 Ford F100 Nuclear Site Truck | Why Wo...   STAY CONNECTED WITH THE GARAGE: 📸 Instagram - @thegarageautorr 📘 Facebook - The Garage Automotive Restoration & Revival 🎥 YouTube - The Garage R&R (@TheGarageRR) 🌐 Website (coming soon!)
