He is the founder of Atillo Balintawak World Arnis Eskrima - Original Saavedra Style. GGM Atillo has students all around the world, his students range from Military Special Forces Warriors to experts in Arnis-Eskrima. He is last living member of the Balintawak organization est. 1952. Great Grand Master Atillo is still proudly propagating his Arnis-eskrima at the age of 83, GGM was born in 1938. Grandmaster Atillo is one of the most famed Eskrimadors of the Philippines. He has consolidated his astonishing depth of knowledge and decades of experience into a single style of Balintawak Eskrima that is based upon the hard-hitting fighting style of the legendary fighter, Teodoro “Doring” Saavedra.
