Grayson Highlands State Park Hickory Ridge Campground Walk Through

For these Lazy RV Cooks, we love showing you places that we have enjoyed. This walking tour is Grayson Highlands State Park located in Southwest Virginia. The park is quite large, but it has a smaller campground. The campground has several great tent sites and a few sites large enough to accommodate even our large Fifth Wheel camper. As always, it is a good to check the site length before booking. Another feature of the campground is a variety of hikes for all skill levels. We hiked Twin Pinnacles trail and the Horse trail out to see the wild ponies. The wild ponies are a must see; however, it is illegal to feed or pet the ponies. We loved watching the ponies graze close by to us, and yes, we tried to keep our distance.
