BANDA ACEH: The Most Dangerous City in Indonesia? (I Don't Think So...)

Welcome back to Indonesia! Decided to start my 2023 travels in Indonesia back in Sumatra. This time I decided to go to the northwestern most part of Indonesia and visit Banda Aceh. I was told by many people not to visit Banda Aceh because of its strict religious practices. It is the only place in Indonesia that implements Sharia Law. Although they only enforce it on Muslims. In this video, I check out the beautiful Baiturrahman Grand Mosque located right in the heart of the city. A city that was devasted by the 2004 tsunami that killed roughly 75,000 people in Banda Aceh City alone. After a visit to the mosque, I go just right across the street to see what the local food vendors are selling. I see something new and give it a try.... it was not very good...
