Working in the Man Cave…… Major upgrade. 5000 WATTS Navitas install

I Put a 5000W Controller on My EZGO… Was This a HUGE Mistake?! 😳⚡ In this episode, I take my EZGO golf cart to the next level by installing a Navitas 5,000W AC controller and motor setup… and things get CRAZY. What started as a simple performance upgrade quickly turned into something way more intense than I expected. More power, more torque… and yeah—maybe a little too much 😅 We’re talking: ⚡ Massive power upgrade with the Navitas 5K controller ⚡ Full AC motor swap ⚡ First test runs (you won’t believe what happens…) ⚡ Real-world results – is it worth it or a total fail? In this Navitas upgrade, I’ll be honest — I was a little nervous going into this project after dealing with so many issues on previous air ride setups. But this install ended up going a lot smoother than expected. One of the biggest wins in this build was figuring out the wiring solution. I was able to find a plug-and-play style connection that allowed me to convert my 36V PDS system into a 48V TXT setup that connects directly into the Navitas controller. That part took a lot of digging through research, but it made a huge difference in simplifying the install. I also had to make a few custom adjustments to get everything fitting properly. The rear shock needed to be refit to clear the larger motor, and I ended up fabricating a custom bracket using a leaf spring to make it all work correctly and safely. Overall, this build turned out way cleaner than expected, and I’m really happy with how it came together. This thing went from cruising to straight-up WHEELIE machine real quick.
