Milling Machine Saved from a Field! Will this K&T Run Again?
Is this machine too far gone? Maybe but its worth giving it a shot. This week we did a little machine tool musical chairs. I ended up rehoming my Emco PC 50 milling machine. Then I snagged this abandoned 1961 Kearney and Trecker 2CH horizontal mill. It has been left outside for an unknown amount of time but i'm going to give it another shot at life and try to restore it. If not it will become a parts machine and help save some other pieces of iron. It came with a vertical head, K&T milling vice, and the parking attachment.
