The Honda N360 was designed to embody the concept of a people's car, offering ample interior space and more power, all at a competitive price. While Honda was a latecomer to the minicar market, they came up with competitive technology to stand out. In terms of shape, the Honda N360 immediately resembles a Morris Mini. In terms of size, both the Honda N360 and the Morris Mini are similar, but Honda's Kei Car is slightly smaller. Nevertheless, the Honda N360 remains comfortable to drive for adults, even those of European stature, whose build is relatively larger than that of Asians. The Honda N360 is available in addition to a sedan (2-door hatchback) with a down-opening trunk door, as well as a van variant with a retractable rear window. Moving on to the engine, the Honda N360 is powered by a 354cc, air-cooled engine capable of producing 31 hp, located at the front of the body. This powertrain is sufficient to support the N360's very light weight of just 508 kg. The Honda N360 and its sibling, the N600, which had a larger engine, were the beginnings of Honda's city cars, and were the basis for the first generation Honda Civic.
