TRIP REPORT | Flying across Ireland with Ryanair :) | Ryanair Boeing 737-800 Kerry to Dublin
A nice mid-morning flight across Ireland from Kerry to Dublin with Ryanair on an overcast, early-autumn day in Ireland. This flight was exactly the way you would want it to be - Efficient, On-time and Without Delays. Ireland isn't a very big island, and as a result it doesn't take very long to fly across Ireland on a Boeing 737-800. You would therefore hope that for a short flight like this (generally only about 40 minutes or so) that the service would be run very quickly, efficiently and on-time. Well, I have to say, this was flight was exactly that! In fact, we even had to wait on the Runway for a while before we were cleared to Take-Off as we were so early starting our engines and taxiing! So I was more than happy with that of course :) In terms of the flight itself, I was pretty pleased overall. Even though it was cloudy pretty much the whole way, it was a very nice flight and a lovely morning for flying also. We took off Eastbound on Runway 08 in Kerry and climbed to our Cruising Altitude quite quickly. There was some very low cloud present across Ireland that morning, so we crossed the cloud ceiling very quickly after taking off. Once we were above the clouds, I got some lovely clips of the wing with the blue Skies around us and the clouds below, which I'm hoping you will enjoy during the video :) The First bit of land we saw was around Counties Carlow and Kilkenny, which we spotted just as we began to descend into Dublin. Soon afterwards, we got some lovely views of the Wicklow Mountains before surrounding the city of Dublin and approaching the North Runway in DUB. The weather in Dublin? Pretty much the same as Kerry, quite cloudy and a lot of very low cloud present. As a result, we couldn't get any views of the city as we approached but got a few small clips of North Dublin before landing. We landed Eastbound on Runway 10L in Dublin well ahead of schedule, which was great and we were very happy with today's flight as a result. What can I say about this route - I really love the very fact that it's there. It makes travelling across Ireland so, so much easier and I hope I can inspire some of you to fly between Kerry and Dublin in the near future! Ever flown with Ryanair before? Maybe from Kerry to Dublin? Or maybe on another domestic flight in Europe or somewhere else in the world? Hope to read your answers and experiences in the comments :) Enjoy :) Flight Facts** Scheduled Departure: 10:25am Actual Departure: 10:22am Scheduled Arrival: 11:20am Actual Arrival: 11:06am Scheduled Flight Time: 0h 55m Actual Flight Time: 0h 44m Cruising altitude: 23,000ft Date of Recording: September 2024 MUSIC** Song: Lichu - Rainbow Video Link: • Lichu — Rainbow
