At @facua, we have filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office against Bertín Osborne's telecommunications company, Española de Telefonía, for alleged crimes of deceptive advertising and fraud. This follows our discovery that they offered a fake speed test as a marketing tool, the results of which showed users browsing up to 20 times slower than their actual speed. The businessman has responded to our complaints with insults and the smokescreen of claiming he is being attacked for being a patriot. He says that everything he does is always shrouded in controversy. Controversies such as his conviction for asset concealment, a debt to the Spanish Tax Agency that reached nearly €30,000, his company based in Panama, and his changing his tax domicile to another country to avoid paying taxes in Spain.
