Mira esta fue la turista que perdió la vida en el incendio del hotel de Bayahíbe

The response to the incident at a hotel complex in Bayahibe resulted in the death of Francesca Valentino, a 46-year-old Italian tourist who was affected during the emergency and subsequently transferred to a health center, where she remained under medical care. The visitor, originally from Caserta, Italy, received assistance from personnel of the National Emergency and Security System 911, who coordinated her evacuation to a medical facility in the neighboring province. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, the woman succumbed to the complications arising from the incident at the resort. According to preliminary reports, the medical examiner determined that the cause of death was linked to prolonged exposure to smoke during the incident. The removal of the body was carried out with the participation of the Public Prosecutor's Office and agents from the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DICRIM), as part of the official procedures. Authorities also arranged for the body to be transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF), where an autopsy will be performed before the necessary procedures for its repatriation to Italy are completed. This process is standard procedure in these types of cases and aims to precisely establish all the elements related to what happened.
