Superior Wilderness Designs SWD Ultralight Long Haul 50 Backpack Review After 96 Trail Miles
Following up on my overview video of this pack from SWD, I took it up to Scotland to hike the 96 mile West Highland Way in late May 2023. Please note that I bought this pack with my own money and have no affiliation with SWD. The weather was unusually good for Scotland, and there was no rain to test the pack, but I did hike the whole trail with it and share my opinion in this review. A couple of things I forgot to mention in the video: I took out the roll top stiffeners - I just found them unnecessary. My back didn't get ridiculously sweaty, even though the days were warm. The wide, padded shoulder straps were extremely comfy. Always attempt to try a backpack for yourself before purchasing one based on other peoples' opinions. This video is just my thoughts on how the pack worked for me.
