Restoring the legendary Dell XPS M170 Gaming Laptop Back in 2005, this was the ultimate status symbol. The Dell XPS M170 cost over $4,500 and featured the massive Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX. Today, I'm starting the restoration of this retro gaming beast. In Part 1, we inspect the condition, tear it down a bit, and discover the hidden damages after 21 years of neglect.
