It all started when, on my last fishing trip, I was cleaning up after leaving when a familiar Yura fisherman came up to me and started talking to me! He was so kind and patient with me, teaching me the spot and how to fish, so I decided to definitely go there next time (lol). It's a 3.5 hour drive one way to my home point (lol) in Yura, Ainan Town, Ehime Prefecture. I came here on this expedition with high spirits! [It no longer feels like an expedition, and the distance of over 3 hours each way feels more like a commute lol] Since it's said to be a secret location, I took photos to make it difficult to identify, but I'm sure regulars will recognize it. The dangling fish are made from free bran and sand that cost a few hundred yen at a home improvement store. There are costs for bait and the rental boat, but I think this is one of the cheapest fishing trips in Japan for this type of fishing lol.
