2007 Chevy Silverado Will Not Start? Thought It Was A Battery Problem?

Chevy Silverado Will Not Start? I am not a professional I am showing what happened to me and what I did. Thought It Was A Battery Problem? No it was a GM passkey III system malfunction? Did not know the truck had this system. Passkey system is an anti-theft computer that reads the chip in the key. If it can't read it the system disables the engine. I was lucky this happened at home. If I was on the road it would have cost me big bucks. I was told in my owners manual to call a dealership for this problem. People told me a dealership would charge $600-$800 dollars to fix. I found a way to get the computer to relearn the keys micro chip. I had to do it several times before it worked. It has been 3 days and 12-15 engine starts and it is still working. In this video I show you what I had and what I did. Recommend hooking up a battery charger when trying to reprogram. I have been told low battery power could cause this problem.
