Renewal of a GIANT CARBON ANODE FURNACE - Trimet Hamburg - CINEMATIC TIMELAPSE 4K

A furnace for the production of carbon anodes was renewed at TRIMET Aluminum SE's Hamburg aluminum smelter over a period of 10 weeks. The newly built ring chamber furnace with 48 chambers replaces an eight year old furnace and brings a plus in energy efficiency. We were already able to document the construction of the old furnace and were very happy to be part of this exciting project, this time with our current time-lapse cameras.
