It doesn't have to be, at least at home: preparing a single serving of rice—or more, if you're so inclined—isn't a chore, as today's video demonstrates. To make a more than decent dry rice, you'll only need a frying pan or paella pan and a burner the same size as its base. Plus the ingredients, of course, which can be more or less what you can get your hands on.
