Jefferson - One of the Best Small Towns to Visit in Texas
Situated in the northeastern part of the state, about 2.5 hours east of Dallas and 4 hours north of Houston, Jefferson is one of the prettiest towns in the Texas. Once the second busiest port and the 6th largest town in the state, it boasts pre-Civil War homes and a rich history. It's a delight to walk around the town visiting the shops and museums.
