Microsoft Access - Alive, Under Active Development And Not Dead
Some good news! Highlighting the fact that Microsoft Access Dev Team recently updated their "What's New" webpage which demonstrates that they are in fact actively developing the product beyond just bug fixes and that the product is not in fact on life support. This is a great official resource we can now point clients and fellow developers to highlight this fact. For some time now, they have been publishing bug fixes via their blog, bug we very rarely see posts about new features they've released. This finally changed! Sure there's a lot more work needed on the public front, but this is still a great first step! Let's hope they keep this forward momentum and we see more of this in the near future.
