🚨 ¡JUICIO POLÍTICO A MANOLO! La represión en Coahuila ya le estalló en la cara.
The PRI governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, boasted after winning all sixteen districts on June 7th with 55% of the vote. He stated that in Coahuila, any police officer can detain and intimidate any citizen. On June 12th, federal deputy Ricardo Mejía Berdeja of the Labor Party (PT) went to the Chamber of Deputies and filed a complaint for impeachment proceedings against him and Attorney General Federico Fernández Montañez. The charges: repression, kidnapping, beatings, and torture of candidates, leaders, and operatives of the Morena and PT parties before, during, and after election day. Mejía appeared as a direct witness—he was present at the recount in the sixth district of Frontera and saw the state police in action. The most brutal case in the complaint is that of Antonio Flores and his sister Tania: in addition to beating her, they threw tear gas in her eye, causing severe corneal damage, and she was sexually assaulted by state police officers. All of this is documented in the case file. Morena filed an appeal with the Federal Electoral Tribunal (TEPJF) requesting the annulment of the sixteen districts with documented irregularities in 962 polling stations—22.6 percent of the total. Additionally, they filed a complaint with the National Electoral Institute (INE) regarding the Institutional Revolutionary Party's (PRI) campaign spending violations and requested information from the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) about the origin of the funds used in the QRgate scandal. Four simultaneous legal actions concerning the same election results. In this video, we explain the difference between impeachment and electoral challenges and why they are proceeding in parallel; Mejía's profile as a direct witness and former Undersecretary of Security; why the Attorney General is falling along with the Governor; what the 962 polling stations mean for the TEPJF; Mejía's warning that QRgate represents the new generation of electoral fraud and must be regulated; and why Manolo's removal before 2027 would affect who controls the state when the 38 mayors are elected.
