Avon Valley Railway - Class 08 Running Day - 05/03/2022

Saturday 5th March 2022 saw the Avon Valley Railway host a special 'One-day only' Class 08 Running Day, feature two class members in action. Star of the show was guest British Rail Class 08, No. 08 359 (courtesy of the Diesel Electric Shunter Company), joining resident British Rail Class 08, 08 202 for an intensive day of diesel hauled services, with fellow Class members 08 888 & 09 015 on static display at Bitton station. Filmed over the course of the day we see both locomotives in action, alternating services between Bitton and Oldland Common, before double-heading the final run of the day. Loco List; .
