4 Days in Sapa, Vietnam – Hiking, Fansipan & Local Life (Travel Vlog)

We spent 4 unforgettable days in Sapa, Vietnam, hiking through rice terraces, exploring Cat Cat Village, and reaching for the top of Fansipan — the Roof of Indochina. In April 2023, we spent three weeks exploring Vietnam — from the north to the center — and one of our favorite stops was Sapa, where we spent around four unforgettable days. On our first day, we took a van from Hanoi to Sapa and spent the afternoon exploring Sapa town and the famous Cat Cat Village. Day two was all about hiking — a 6.5-hour trek through the H’mong Valley, surrounded by breathtaking rice terraces and guided by Mimi, who shared so much about local culture and life in the region. The third day didn’t go exactly as planned due to the weather, but we still managed to visit the Love Waterfall, Heaven’s Gate, and even made an attempt to reach Fansipan Mountain, the highest peak in Indochina. On our final day, we took it slow before heading back to Hanoi. If you’re planning a trip to Vietnam, you should definitely add Sapa to your itinerary.
