WAJIR - PARTNERSHIP ENHANCE ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER
Access to clean, safe and affordable water is a major constraint in the improvement of livelihoods of pastoral communities. In Wajir County, only 5.1% of the entire population have access to clean portable water despite the county being one of the highest allocator for water development countrywide. Residents now have a blink of hope as clean, desalinated, affordable water is provided in water kiosks - in a project jointly funded through Private Public Partnership by Kenya Rapid.
