Exploring around Highway 395 in the Eastern Sierras

A week of hiking and exploring along Highway 395 in our 1995 Provan Tiger, from Mono Lake down to Alabama Hills March/April 2026. We started at Panum Crater Rim Trail, then hit the South Tufa Loop at Mono Lake. The next day we went to Hike Tungsten Peak near Bishop. Then down to Alabama Hills, we hiked the Lone Ranger Canyon / Yellow Sky loop, then drove up to Onion Valley, or tried to, our alternator died and we had to go find a replacement. After the alternator swap we still got a good hike in at Onion Valley. Next day we did another hike up to First and Second lake on Big Pine Lakes trail camped by a hot spring and made dinner. Finished off the video with a sunrise hot spring soak before Monday morning work.
