Problems with 2014 Ford Focus Transmission (Please read description, updated 01/24/2021)

Details on problems I have been dealing with on my 2014 Ford Focus transmission. Update: I made this video on August 24th of 2019. To be clear, several people have committed on different solutions to the problem. Obviously this is a poor design by Ford, as it effects millions of vehicles. I explained in the video the process I was going through to resolve the problem and offer advice to people who may be considering purchasing one of these vehicles. Not long after I made this video, the Transmission Control Module (TCM) was replaced. This seemed to solve the problem, although that was probably only temporary. To add insult to injury, not long after I got this resolved, the vehicle developed a blown head gasket. At this point, I purchased another vehicle and got rid of this one. So, please, do not offer me solutions, or what what I should have done. This vehicle is hopefully in a junkyard somewhere and no longer causing anyone problems. Thank you! 01/24/2021
