In our continued search for answers in the disappearance of Debra Wilhite, Chaos Divers brought our sonar to the waters of Otter Pond in Elberfeld. Truck Found And Recovered Deep Underwater Searching For 19 Year Old Debra Ann Wilhite Debra Ann Wilhite was just 19 years old when she vanished on October 16, 1974. A young mother of two, she was last seen leaving her shift at the Windmill Restaurant in Gibson County, Indiana, driving her green 1966 Ford Galaxie after reportedly speaking with a man who asked for a ride. Neither Debra nor her vehicle have ever been seen again. While scanning Otter Pond, our sonar picked up a submerged vehicle. Eric from Ride or Dive suited up and dove in low-visibility conditions, confirming a vehicle resting beneath the surface. Indiana DNR quickly responded, and together, everyone worked seamlessly to safely remove it from the water.
