This Sunday, January 8, marked the launch of the Jubilee Year at the Lisieux shrine, marking the 150th anniversary of Thérèse's birth and the 100th anniversary of her beatification. The Bishop of Bayeux, Mgr Habert, opened the Holy Door and invited pilgrims to follow in the footsteps of little Thérèse, through a Jubilee procession around her places of life and prayer.
