Having Vicious Propensities

The plaintiff says one of the defendant’s dogs lifted the latch on her gate with his snout, got into her yard, and attacked her elderly dog. The dog then bit a neighbor, and her dog needed emergency vet care. The defendant won’t pay for it, so she’s suing. The defendant says the dogs aren’t hers, and the plaintiff’s gate wasn’t closed.
