Summary: Cycling star Tadej Pogacar won the third stage of the 113th Tour de France and took the yellow jersey early. The Slovenian defending champion prevailed on the first small mountain finish after 195.9 km in the Pyrenean village of Les Angles, finishing two seconds ahead of his Danish rival Jonas Vingegaard. Vingegaard thus had to relinquish the overall lead to Pogacar, who finished with exactly the same time. With his 22nd stage win in the Tour, the 27-year-old has taken an important step towards his fifth overall victory. German hopeful Florian Lipowitz (Ulm/Red Bull Bora-hansgrohe) finished seventh, four seconds behind the winner, just ahead of his teammate Remco Evenepoel (Belgium).
