Right after purchasing GoPro Hero 8, we looked for essential accessories for it. Apart from extra batteries, we also need a monopod. The floater handle is rugged but the folding extension which are made of plastics creaks when you adjust its angle or just want to tighten or loosen it up. It will make you concern of its structural integrity. We have used it but not fully extended. Also, the tripod legs are flimsy. If you are not careful, you can easily tip it over. It can be folded but still feels bulky. You can configure the sections so you can make different kind of filming angle.
