It is difficult sometimes to reconcile our belief in an all-powerful and all-compassionate God with inexplicable suffering, especially when that suffering is difficult to justify and randomly distributed. The writer to the Hebrews reminds us, ‘faith is the evidence of things not seen’. God doesn’t remove all our difficulties and challenges, but he does give us his grace, which is always enough.
