You have to get that knowledge how to understand the existence of God, Krishna, everywhere—within and without. So Kunti Devi says, “You are inside and outside.” Krishna is inside, in your heart, and Krishna is outside also. Otherwise, how is this great cosmic manifestation going on? Not only that, He is present everywhere, even within the atom.... However, we cannot understand where Krishna is. That is our misfortune. Dusakriti, the moods, they cannot understand. Why cannot they understand? Because they are dusakriti, always engaged in sinful activities. Who can see Krishna? One who is not sinful. yeṣāṁ tv anta-gataṁ pāpam (Bhagavad-gītā 7.28), one who has finished his sinful life, he can understand Krishna. Therefore, our request to everyone is: Please do not commit these four types of sinful activities – illicit sex, meat consumption, gambling and intoxicants. This is the basic condition for understanding God. In particular, you should not kill animals. The Bible also says, “You shall not kill.” You fool, if you want to understand what God is, you must stop this art of killing. “You shall not kill.” But these fools do not want to understand. This is misfortune... misfortune. And because of this, God always remains hidden from their eyes.
