PORTO FOOD 🇵🇹 – #1 Francesinha & MUST-TRY Portuguese Dishes
We are in Porto, and in this video we are trying all the best traditional food of Porto and Portugal, from small dishes to the big bites, accompanied by the two local food experts. Let's go! Miranda Kaffe We start at Mirandas, a great local place full of vibes — noisy, lively, and always busy. “No reservations here”, so you’ll need to wait for your table, but once seated, get ready for what we believe are the best Francesinha and Prego sandwiches in the city. Adega Braseira Our second stop is Adega Braseira, a very local, affordable, and tasty spot. Once again full of atmosphere, this place offers a menu packed with pratinhos — delicious small dishes enjoyed by locals every day. Talhasca Vila Parda The next day we begin at Talhasca, a historic and cosy restaurant with great food, excellent wine, and an authentic local experience. Here we enjoy petiscos — another style of traditional small plates that showcase Portuguese flavors at their best. Mercado do Bolhão After that, we head to the famous Bolhão Market to experience another local tradition — canned fish. While it may not sound fancy at first, once served beautifully on plates with lemon slices, sardines, cod, and mackerel turn into something close to a fine dining experience. Café Guarany We finish our Porto food tour at Café Guarany, a historic café established in 1933, still full of old-world charm. But the highlight here is their original Rabanada — a unique and delicious dessert made only in this special style.
