#17 - Wood Turning - Purple Heart and red oak laminate bowl
On this weeks project s glued together pieces of Purple Heart and red oak to form an 11” blank that was to become a bowl. Lots of fun was had with this project learning about how the woods conspired against me. But in the end the tools won out and this beautiful bowl was born. Since finishing the project I have received a new product that had me thinking I might return to it and sand the finish off to refinish it for a better finish. But I haven’t decided yet.
