Cincy's Deer Recovery Update: ABTA Seasoned Test Prep Work

It’s been awhile since we posted a tracking update, so here’s a look at some of the tougher practice tracks we’ve been working on lately with Cincy for Cincy’s Deer Recovery. With the recent passing of UBT1, it’s been a reminder to appreciate every opportunity we get to work these dogs and continue learning from the people and dogs that helped build the tracking community. This weekend we’ll be attending the ABTA seminar and next level testing as we continue preparing for more difficult real-world recovery situations. This video highlights several of the recent practice tracks along with a lot of praise and celebration for the work Cincy continues to put in every single track. A major goal of this training is carry over toward her seasoned certification, but even more importantly, improving our ability to understand what Cincy is telling us during real recoveries. Every track helps expose both strengths and deficits while building more trust and confidence as a team.
