Guiding Light 9-29-04 Springfield learns that Roger is dead Part 1
Blake is stunned about Roger's death and Sebastian offers his sympathy. When Holly arrives at Towers she is skeptical. At first she refuses to believe that Roger is dead; it must be a sick joke of Roger's but when Sebastian offers proof and conducts a moving ceremony, both Holly and Blake begin the grieving process. Sebastian reveals that he is Rogers son and he has come to town to finish what Roger started. He needs both Blake and Hollys help. When Ross breaks the news of Rogers death to Alan after Blake has called him and told him, Alan is overjoyed that he has outlived his mortal enemy. Phillip however now believes that he must apply Rogers ruthlessness into getting back at Harley. Phillip, Alan and Ross end up stuck in an elevator while going to Towers. When they finally get out, Ross comforts Holly & Blake while Alan gloats over Roger's urn. Meanwhile back on the Towers terrace Sebastian says to himself that "He is not dead. He is just away."
