I walked 11,000 steps through Yanaka, Nezu, and Sendagi (Yanaka-Nezu-Sendagi) in Tokyo. It wasn't just about visiting popular shops; it was a day filled with encounters with people and experiencing the warmth of the old downtown area. This time, I leisurely walked through Yanaka-Nezu-Sendagi, one of Tokyo's most representative walking spots, from morning till evening. I visited popular natural shaved ice shops using plenty of seasonal fruit, traditional Japanese confectionery and rice cracker shops, cafes retaining the atmosphere of the Showa era, cafes renovated from public bathhouses, historical shrines and temples, and casual conversations with locals… It was a day where I experienced the unique charm of Yanaka-Nezu-Sendagi, something you can't find in guidebooks, by walking it myself. I'm 62 years old. "Now that I'm a senior, walking around Tokyo at my own pace is so much fun." With that thought in mind, I present this video.
