極細ちぢれ麺が名物の立ち食い中華そば!築地市場外で創業70年を迎えた老舗ラーメン【築地若葉】
【Chuka Soba Tsukiji Wakaba】 We visited “Tsukiji Wakaba,” a chuka soba specialty shop located in the outer market of Tsukiji, Tokyo. Founded in 1955, this long-established ramen shop has been loved for 70 years. It’s so popular that people start lining up early in the morning and is known as a local icon of Tsukiji. The highlight is their ultra-thin wavy noodles—so thin they’re said to be impossible to make any thinner. Originally developed to meet the needs of busy market workers wanting to eat quickly, this ramen is served in as little as one minute after ordering, which adds to its charm. The flavor is simple yet nostalgic, making it easy to enjoy to the last bite. We also introduce their summer-only “Chilled Yuzu Shio Soba” and “Chilled Tantan Soba.” Each dish features the ultra-thin noodles tightened in cold water and ice, served with a unique sauce—perfect for hot days. Both come topped with three slices of chashu and shredded shiso, giving a refreshing appearance. With a clean aftertaste, these bowls go down easily even during the hot summer months. If you visit Tsukiji, be sure to try these seasonal specialties as well. ■Shop Information Name: Tsukiji Wakaba Address: 4-9-11 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo Access: 4-minute walk from Tsukiji Station (Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line) Hours: Mon–Sat 5:00–13:00 Closed: Sundays, public holidays, and market holidays ■Featured Menu ・Chuka Soba: 1000 yen ・Chilled Yuzu Shio Soba: 1000 yen ・Chilled Tantan Soba: 1000 yen #ramen #standingramen #chilledramen #japanesefood #tokyofood #tsukijifood #tokyotravel #tokyotrip #japantrip #japanesefood #japantravel #japantrip
