Classic Soul Food Dinner Collards: 3-4lbs collard greens Apple cider vinegar Lawry’s Seasoned salt Collard green seasoning Chicken bouillon Smoked turkey necks Pork, turkey necks Yellow onion Fresh Garlic Water Few Red pepper flakes Fried Chicken: 2 pound chicken wings Complete seasoning Smoked paprika Adobo seasoning Sazon (1pkt) Black pepper Garlic powder Hot sauce 1 egg (add in just before flouring) Dry batter: All-purpose flour Cornstarch Same dry, seasonings as above (exempt smoked paprika) Mac n cheese: 8oz elbow macaroni Sharp cheddar cheese ( 60% of the cheese was this) Velveeta cheese Provolone cheese Smoked Gruyère @CarnationMilks 1/2 stick butter Onion powder Chicken bouillon *I Typically use AT LEAST 1:2 Ratio for elbow macaroni to cheese Candied Yams: 2 extra large yams Brown sugar Granulated sugar Maple syrup Vanilla extract Cinnamon Butter Nutmeg (This is optional but, I never use it) Lemon zest & juice (only add a little bit to give it an umami flavor. You shouldn’t really taste the lemon)
