Anna-Catharina Gebbers, curator at Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin talks with the Californian artist whose first language is American Sign Language (ASL). They discuss how sound creates political space in the media and everyday life. VOLKSWAGEN ART4ALL presents an interdisciplinary, free-of-charge program of lectures, screenings, conversations with artists, performances and multilingual guided tours which continues to take place on the first Thursday of every month in Berlin.
