Police officers and personnel from the Urban Transport Authority (ATU) are conducting an operation against informal transportation in the San Martín de Porres district. The National Police are inspecting vehicles that show serious structural damage and lack license plates. During this operation, officers have found that some vehicles have outstanding fines totaling more than 93,000 soles. "In a joint effort between the ATU and the police, we are impounding informal vehicles that lack proper documentation and permits.
