Chuck E. Cheese Store Tour - York Pennsylvania - 2.0 - January 2025

First upload of the year! The Chuck E. Cheese located at York Pennsylvania opened as a Showbiz Pizza on March 4th, 1983. This location would temporarily close around 1989-1990, later reopening and rebranded as Chuck E. Cheese Pizza around August 1990. On September 16th, 1996 York would be bought out by corporate, originally owned by the McBiz franchise corporation. This Chuck E. Cheese would remained untouched (with the exception of a few stage and store modifications) until around 2016 when they would remove dim lighting from the showroom and add LED lights to the 3 Stage. Unfortunately, York would begin the 2.0 remodel in September 2018, removing everything we loved about the store. The 2.0 remodel completed around October 2018. York installed and opened up the new trampoline zone around Christmas time 2024 despite there being rumors about York closing. I have no idea if that is true or not so take that with a grain of salt. Today York still stands as a 2.0 and there’s really nothing special about this store other than some 90s emergency exit signs still present in the store. Filmed on Jan 4th, 2025.
