Marvelous Mr Mambo! A young elephant bull of the Jabulani Herd
Marvelous Mr Mambo! The mischievous yet loving young elephant bull, approaching 11 years of age! If this rugged and boisterous boy, with all his character and finds his way into your heart, foster him and stand a chance to win a three-night stay at Jabulani for two people sharing! https://jabulanisafari.com/fostering/... Mambo’s lesson ~ Keep your energy up and smiles afloat! Mambo, meaning 'King' or 'Chief' in the Shona language, was born 29 August 2009, the fourth baby born to the herd. His mother is an elephant you have all come to know and love as Khanyisa’s new adoptive mom, Lundi. Physical Traits: This young bull is unusually big for his age, which makes him look a lot older than Pisa, who is a similar age. His tusks are normal size and point outwards. His right eye is a little ragged looking, and he has a rounded forehead. He has a tear in his right ear, which resembles the torn ear that his mother, Lundi is well recognised for. Personality: As a youngster, Mambo always listened to and learned a lot from his mom. He is by the far the most mischievous elephant of the herd. He cannot stay out of trouble, and it frustrates some of the older elephants, such as Bubi. But his intentions are always playful and from a loving place. He loves attention and being in the limelight. Although Mambo has always been playful, he is becoming more disciplined in his juvenile years - starting to make his own decisions and be more steadfast in his actions. So independent and steadfast is he that he recently went roving with the wild herd, leaving us and Lundi to worry about his whereabouts. He was found soon enough and brought back to his mother by Tigere and carer, Last. Mambo's favourite elephant to spend time within the herd is Zindoga, who happens to be Bubi's son, hence she keeps an eagle eye on the two, making sure that Mambo does not lead Zindoga astray. We love Mambo for his energy and chutzpah, an elephant you can never forget! Foster marvelous Mambo! https://jabulanisafari.com/fostering/...
