Wrapping up the summer in a classic American V8 convertible is simply the best. Here, I drove this $67k as tested ($53k base) Mustang GT Premium ($2,900) Convertible with the Performance Pack ($4,995) and a slick Vapor Blue paint. How was this tech filled S650 Mustang? Well it’s hard o hate when it’s the last American 4 seater convertible on the market for starters.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏁 @Alllcarnews Review Spec Sheet: Under the hood is the 5.0L Coyote V8 with a new dual air intake box and dual throttle body making 486HP and 418 lb-ft of torque. This is paired to an 10 speed auto. 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Highs: +The Coyote V8 is ultra powerful for 2024 and sounds as good as ever. +handling is surprisingly impressive with strong brakes, sharp yet numb steering, and impressive grip. +The tech is actually quite good though a bit confusing at first. Lows: -The cowl shake on the convertible was abundant the whole week, not welcome at nearly $70k -Even with an upgraded interior, it still felt well… cheap: manually locking convertible roof, cramped rear seats. 8/10 The Mustang is still very much a Mustang, and it handles better, sounds better, and looks sharper than ever before.
