Agricultural machinery is among the oldest tools used by humans to cultivate the land. At first, they were very simple, consisting of stones or shovels made by human power. Over time, new designs began to appear that facilitated cultivation, although they still required significant human or animal involvement. The first solution to replace human labor and horse-drawn vehicles was the introduction of steam engines, or locomobiles, to agriculture. A new era dawned, and the draft horse was replaced by the horsepower. Today, agricultural tractors are widely used on farms, and over the past two decades, a true revolution has taken place in agricultural technology. Old machinery, however, remains an object of interest, though no longer among farmers, but among automotive and agricultural enthusiasts who restore the luster of old vehicles and machines. The Retro Tractor Association from Golub-Dobrzyń, which has been operating for 16 years, is a member of this group. We will discuss the association's activities in the "Technical Monuments of Kujawy and Pomerania" program.
