Worldbuilding for Concept Art - Part 1 - Designing and Sketching
In this video series, I'll go over the entire process for creating a concept painting, from gathering photo reference and using it to design original fantasy architecture, to sculpting and modeling the world using 3D Coat and Blender. Finally we'll create a render and finish the painting off in Photoshop. I've also included sections going over the basics of Blender and 3D Coat for beginners. This isn't meant to be comprehensive, only to get you started creating with these programs. Hope you enjoy!
