Miracles Are Not Automatic, You Need To Play Your Part

Marian poured her savings into a bakery she believed God told her to open. Three months later, the shop was empty, the bills were piling up, and the whole town had written her off. Twice she gave up. This is the story of what happened when she stopped waiting for a miracle to fall from the sky and started putting her faith to work. We often believe that if God has promised something, it should happen automatically. But the promise and the possessing are two different things. Marian knew the word, but knowing it wasn't enough she had to learn to keep it in her mouth, declare it over her situation, and stand on it even when nothing around her was changing. Like David facing Goliath, she wasn't fighting in her own strength. And like the seed in the parable of the sower, her faith had to grow roots deep enough to survive the heat. This is a story about the difference between hearing the word and living it. About getting back up after you fall seven times if you have to. And about the quiet, daily discipline of speaking life over what looks hopeless, until your breakthrough becomes confirmation of what you already knew.
