Good morning, and welcome to Sacred Heart Holy Catholic Church, and our celebration of the Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Today’s liturgy places us in the patient hands of the Divine Judge, whose power is made perfect in mercy. In the Gospel, Jesus shares the parables of the Kingdom, most notably the Wheat and the Weeds. We are reminded that our world and our individual hearts are complex fields where both good and evil grow together. Rather than rushing to tear everything up in judgment, God invites us to trust His sovereign patience, letting the grace of His Word mature within us until the final harvest.
