#arthurgrowler Freight trains captured along the north wales coast & the borderlands line during March & April 2026. Good to see the north wales line starting to get some regular freight activity with Penmaenmawr Quarry in full flow supplying the granite stone for the HS2 project. Nice to see the DCR Class 60’s back powering the Aggregate with ease Steel trains daily on the borderlands line back & too from Margam Tc to Dee Marsh Sidings supplying Shotton TATA steel plant Cement trains from Pen y Ffordd has come to a temporary closure till work is carried out on the main flume, wagons has been shipped over to the Clitheroe Castle Cement plant Flask train had a rare run out to Valley during March plus heavy hall took skate from Llandudno junction up to Hope Castle Cement.
